Humble ISD school board member Lori Twomey announced her resignation at the October board meeting.
After a standing ovation, the board presented her with a crystal keepsake. First elected in 2019, she is moving to Oklahoma.
The board members begrudgingly approved her resignation with sad sentiments such as words from board member Robert Sitton, “From the time I met you, you have become more than just a board member. I call you my friend.”
