Woman Arrested After Undercover Prostitution Investigation

HOUSTON, TX — A 56-year-old woman was arrested after police said she offered to have sex with them for money. Undercover deputy constables arrested Van Thi Vo on July 12 inside the Massage New Foot Spa in the 2100 block of FM 1960 in north Harris County.

Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman said his office launched its investigation after receiving numerous complaints of prostitution activities in the area.

Investigators went into the unlicensed business on Friday posing as clients. Shortly after their arrival, investigators said spa employee Van Thi Vo offered to perform sex acts in exchange for money.

Vo was arrested and booked into the Harris County jail, charged with Prostitution. Her bond was set at just $100 out of County Court 01.

Investigators said Vo was known to deputies and had been arrested previously for soliciting prostitution in a massage parlor in Harris County.
