The public is invited to attend a Public Meeting at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 8 to review and provide input on proposed improvements to Southwest Park. The meeting will be held in-person at the Jack D. Huffman Community Building auditorium, 801 W. Irving Blvd. At the conclusion of the presentation, attendees can ask questions, and share ideas, requests or concerns.

The project is budgeted for more than $2 million in upgrades, and the funds come from the recent Bond Election voters approved in May 2021. The improvements are intended to provide more recreational opportunities for the local community.
