John Carpenter Freeway and later bit an officer during the struggle. Officers used a Taser to stop her from running into highway lanes, then took her to Irving Jail on charges of assaulting a peace officer and resisting arrest. Police highlighted the serious risks when pedestrians enter busy roadways.

Twins make Bell signing official (minnesotanewsnetwork.com) — An Irving native is headed to a new team in Major League Baseball, as first baseman Josh Bell has signed a one-year deal with the Minnesota Twins.
