Beginning Monday, Feb. 21, N. O’Connor Road, from Irving Boulevard to Rock Island Road, will be closed through Monday, April 25, weather permitting. The closure is will allow storm drainage, wastewater and water construction work along Irving Boulevard to continue east through the O'Connor Road intersection.

Westbound Irving Boulevard between N. O’Connor Road and Sowers Road remains closed through July.
NEW DETOURS, ACCESS TO BUSINESSES
- Westbound Irving Boulevard traffic will detour at Main Street, head north to Rock Island Road, and then west to O'Connor. Traffic will then proceed north on O'Connor Road to Pioneer Drive and head west on Pioneer to return to Irving Boulevard.
- Southbound O'Connor Road will detour west to Sowers Road. Traffic will then turn south on Sowers to Second Street, and head west on Second to O'Connor.
- O’Connor Road between Second Street and Irving Boulevard will partially remain open to allow access to businesses in that immediate area.
- Irving Boulevard between Main Street and O'Connor Road will remain partially open to allow access to businesses along this section of road, but street parking will be prohibited in this section.

Motorists should expect delays in the area and seek alternate routes when possible.
