- Coppell native Solomon Thomas (2017's number three draft pick in the NFL) returned to his hometown last weekend. He's using his fame and a partnership with his parents to launch The Defensive Line nonprofit. The organization seeks to increase awareness for youth suicide. Thomas lost his sister to suicide in January of 2018. (CBS Dallas / Fort Worth)
- The Perot Nature and Science Museum was already pretty cool, but CEO Linda Silver plans to take it to new heights. In response to changes brought with COVID-19, Silver is seeking Perot's expansion into new North Texas communities, an increase of digital STEM education assets, augmentation of its outdoor experiences, exploration of gamification opportunities and more.
