- Police arrested a man for DWI after he crashed into a hangar at Love Field on Saturday, April 9. Jaime Alexander Salazar, 21, allegedly drove a 2011 GMC Sierra pickup truck into the hangar, damaging a fuel truck and two private jets. (Dallas Voice)
- It's a big year for sports in Irving! The inaugural USA Triathlon Multisport National Championships Festival, presented by Toyota, is coming to Las Colinas on April 28-May 1. Organizers expect about 1,700 unique athletes to attend, each often participating in multiple events. They say the local agencies' cooperation makes the Irving-Las Colinas area an attractive venue.
