The two suspects are accused of abducting a 15-year-old girl.
IRVING, TX -- The Irving Police Department have charged two people with trafficking a child and compelling prostitution in the case of a 15-year-old girl who went missing April 19. The girl was last seen by her mother near their home, Irving PD said in a news release.
On May 2, the victim's mother noticed that her daughter's email account had been accessed in Irving, police added.
"The same email address had also been used to open an account to solicit sex. With this information, Officers were able to respond to the location and rescue the child. During the operation, officers arrested two suspects for trafficking a child and compelling prostitution," Irving PD added. "Two other associates were arrested for unrelated misdemeanor offenses. Investigators determined the perpetrators would use websites, like the one the victim’s mother discovered, to advertise sexual services to customers while moving the victim to various motel rooms."
