Irving City Council approved an agreement with Baylor Medical Center at Irving for reimbursement of health care staffing costs due to the COVID-19 pandemic for $1,000,000 from Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act Funding.

The money can be used for health care staffing expenses associated with COVID-19, including payroll and benefits expenses that are eligible for public safety, public health, health care, human services, and similar employees whose services are substantially dedicated to mitigating or responding to the COVID-19 public health emergency.

Funds will be dispersed on a reimbursement basis pending sufficient support documentation consistent with applicable laws and Coronavirus Relief Funds Program Terms and Conditions.
