🌱WrestleMania 38 Descends On DFW + Find Fresh Oysters In Irving

Here are the top five stories in Irving today:

  1. Wrestling fans from around the nation are descending on DFW to attend WWE'S WrestleMania 38 held at Arlington's AT&T Stadium on Saturday and Sunday. Around 150,000 fans from all 50 states and 47 countries are expected to attend the mega event, last held in Arlington in 2016. Experts estimate the event will bring upwards of $200 million to the local economy. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
  2. The casual dining scene got a little less crowded last week — at least briefly. Arlington's TGI Fridays closed for two days after health inspectors discovered violations. Take a look at the rest of the closures over at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

  5. A century-old Fort Worth building was purchased by an Irving hotel company recently, reports NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth. The 11-story building has served as an office building since being built in 1910. The purchasing company, Icon Lodging is expected to turn the property into a hotel.
