Jasper County investigators and the State Fire Marshal are working to determine the cause, with multiple local agencies, including Jasper Fire and Jasper Police, responding to the scene. 
• JCSO Honors Deputy Brian Gray as November Employee of the Month (easttexasbanner.com) — A longtime Jasper County deputy has been singled out for his dedication to protecting residents, with the sheriff’s office naming Brian Gray its Employee of the Month for November.
