• Labera 'Faye' Creel passed away November 8, 2025 (dailytrib.com) — Kingsland residents are mourning longtime educator and community volunteer Labera “Faye” Creel, who passed away at her Kingsland home on November 8 at age 85. After a 39-year education career, she retired to Kingsland, became active at Highland Lakes United Methodist Church, and supported Friends of the Kingsland Library. A memorial service is set for December 27 in Buchanan Dam.
