• Costco, Target projects advance in major Austin-area suburb (mysanantonio.com) — Major retail growth is coming to Liberty Hill, with construction underway on a 160,000-square-foot Costco at U.S. 183 and Seward Junction Loop and a 148,000-square-foot Target at U.S. 183 and SH 29. Both projects, together worth more than $80 million, are expected to open in 2026 and will significantly expand local shopping options and jobs. 
• LHISD school board charts course following passage of Prop A (lhindependent.com) — Liberty Hill ISD is beginning to spend the $10.7 million from voter-approved Prop A, including retention stipends and a 1% pay raise for staff starting in February 2026. Trustees also advanced plans for staffing new campuses, buying a 6-acre site for future facilities, and continuing the search for a permanent superintendent while Travis Motal remains interim.
