Livingston firefighters, joined by volunteers from Onalaska and Scenic Loop, thoroughly checked the building as a precaution while the restaurant works to resolve the electrical short that sparked the blaze.

Sisters accused of kidnapping 3-year-old, assaulting child's stepmother near Livingston (kltv.com) — Law enforcement quickly responded to a reported kidnapping near Livingston on Tuesday, arresting two sisters accused of assaulting a child’s stepmother and taking the 3-year-old. Polk County deputies, with DPS assistance, safely recovered the child within an hour and filed multiple felony charges related to kidnapping, assault, and organized criminal activity.
