• Lockhart ISD School Bus Incident Near Homann Road Results in No Serious Injuries, Prompt Emergency Response (hoodline.com) — A Lockhart ISD school bus carrying students was involved in a traffic incident near Homann Road early Tuesday, but the district reports no serious injuries. One student was taken for a precautionary hospital check at a parent’s request, and normal bus operations soon resumed. District leaders publicly thanked staff, EMS, and first responders for their quick response. 
• Schools placed on 'secure' during FBI investigation in Lockhart Wednesday (kvue.com) — Two Lockhart schools briefly went into “secure” status Wednesday morning while the FBI carried out court‑authorized activity at a nearby home by Maple Street and Mockingbird Lane. Bluebonnet Elementary and Lockhart Junior High locked exterior doors for about 30 minutes, but classes continued normally inside.
