• High school students compete for funding in entrepreneurship contest (kwtx.com) — Lorena High School senior Maddie Braus and her team earned second place in a Waco entrepreneurship pitch competition, going head-to-head with students from Midway High School. The winning Midway team’s fishing lure startup, Anglers Edge, will receive up to $2,000 from Waco Startup, which also plans to expand the contest to more schools next year.
