🌱 Drug Take Back Day + Shots Fired In Frisco + McKinney Roadwork

Here are the top three stories today in McKinney-Frisco:

  1. The Frisco Police Department and Texas Health Frisco are partnering for this year's Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Apr. 30. Residents can bring their unused, unwanted, or expired medications and dispose of them safely at 12400 Dallas Parkway from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event is designed to prevent prescription drug misuse.   2. Two suspects have been taken into custody after Frisco police responded to a "shots fired" call on Wednesday. According to multiple eyewitness reports, there was police activity on Preston Road near Eldorado Parkway after 10:00 p.m. that night. A spokesperson for the Frisco Police Department stated that two suspects were taken into custody following the officers' investigation. (Star Local Media)
  3. Community Impact Newspaper reported several McKinney infrastructure improvements in progress, as well as one upcoming project. Ongoing projects include reconstruction along East Louisiana Street, improvements for Melissa Road, and construction on Ridge Road.
