🌱 Drug Take Back + TIAA At The Star + McKinney Airport Trade Center

Here are the top three stories today in McKinney-Frisco:

  1. This Saturday (Apr. 30), McKinney is helping residents safely dispose of their unused or expired prescription drugs. As part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, the event, sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration, aims to prevent drug addictions and overdoses while keeping contaminants from being flushed. Head to McKinney’s Public Safety Building (2200 Taylor Burke Drive) from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. tomorrow to utilize the free and anonymous service. (Subscription: The Dallas Morning News)
  2. The Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA) is planning to build a new corporate center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The Star has a total of 91 acres at the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters. The corporate center is set to be a historic partnership between the city of Frisco and Frisco ISD and will create 2,000 new jobs in the area. (KVPI)
  3. Greystar has broken ground on its first DFW development - the McKinney Airport Trade Center, an industrial park in McKinney, Texas. The final development, situated along Harry McKillop Blvd., is set to encompass five structures totaling 740,000 square feet across 70 acres. The first phase will consist of three buildings totaling 320k square feet and is set to be completed at the end of the year. (Commercial Property Executive)
