DSNDP held nationwide cleanup drive in Frisco,Denton

Denton County, TX residents participate in a nationwide Tree Plantation and conservation drive in Denton County on March 9th, 2024.

A Nationwide Tree Plantation and Conservation drive dedicated to the Birth Centennial of Dr. Shri Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari was undertaken by residents and volunteers of the non-profit organization Dr. Shri Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratishthan (DSNDP) at Grand Park, 45R4+VJ, Frisco, TX 75034 on March 9th, 2024. These events were organized by DSNDP in collaboration with the Tree Plantation and Conservation Program.

During the 2-hour plantation/conservation drive at Denton County, volunteers made around 220 seed balls followed by guided hike to prairie loop to reseed pre-made seed balls.

The ‘Tree Plantation and Conservation (TPAC)’ program is part of a Nationwide Cleanup Drive undertaken by DSNDP across 17 states and 55 cities in the United States. The drive was held in Denton County, TX. Park and Recreation Department’s TPAC Program is a partnership between the PRD and DSNDP volunteers, working together to make Denton County better, a mile at a time. More than just a conservation campaign, this innovative program works to educate citizens of all ages about the responsibilities of land stewardship care and repair of our environment. Ultimately, the TPAC Program concerns people caring enough to make a difference.

The Denton County Tree Plantation Drive and Denton County TPAC cleanup drive were scheduled and held very close with New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Michigan, Illinois, New York, and California states and will be followed by other states. DSNDP has collaborated with 17 states and 55 cities to run these cleanup drives across the United States.

The ‘Adopt-A-Highway/Park/Beach/Street/Reservoir’ and Tree Plantation initiatives are driven by hundreds of DSNDP volunteers. To achieve concrete results through the implementation of these teachings, DSNDP committed to social services was founded in the name of Dr. Shri Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari by Dr. Shri Dattatreya Narayan Dharmadhikari Alias Appasaheb Dharmadhikari- a prominent, multiple/global award winner, a global social reformer who transformed millions of lives throughout the world with his humanitarian teachings. The non-profit DSNDP is driven by over a million volunteers worldwide, who strive to keep the legacy of Dr. Shri Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari alive by running massive blood-donation drives, cleanliness drives, tree plantation & conservation drives, conserving natural water reservoirs, assisting hearing-impaired children with free hearing-aids, free adult, and children’s literacy classes, etc. A mega health camp that DSNDP organized in India, entered the Guinness World Record as the largest health camp benefiting 152,000 people attended by 1,571 doctors and 5,000 paramedics in a single day. DSNDP had a successful Women's Cancer Awareness Event in February 2023. Assemblywoman Angela V. McKnight was the chief guest for the event. The event speakers were from prominent institutions such as Harvard, Cleveland Clinic, and Tufts Medical Center.

Recent Blood Donation Drives organized by DSNDP across the United States, India, Australia, UK, Canada, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Nigeria, and Singapore to name a few, stand as strong examples of the impact of mobilizing communities within our neighborhood and the world.
