Here are the top three stories today in McKinney-Frisco:
- A Collin County undercover operation resulted in 15 arrests. "Operation Home Alone" targeted those who use the internet to prey on teens and children. Many electronics were seized by investigators during the investigation, and some of the charges of those arrested are including online solicitation of minors, possession of child pornography, and even sexual performance of a child. (Star Local Media)
- The McKinney City Council clears a pathway for two water pipeline projects. One pipe will carry water to the city and one will be a wastewater pipeline, both will hopefully effectively meet the city's growing water needs. Each pipe will be in different areas of the city, and the water-carrying pipe will supply around 225,000 people with water. (Community Impact Newspaper)
- Get ready, Frisco: the Frisco Fair returns to the city for the 2022 season! The popular North Texas Fair will be opening on Apr. 28 and run every day until May 15. Attendees can enjoy carnival rides, games, food, and art. Click to learn more about the Frisco Fair. (Frisco Talk Facebook)
