- Spend your Friday with a buddy at the Incredible Fridays Respite Care program at First McKinney. Attendees partner with special needs children for an evening of various activities such as crafts, a movie, a sensory room, and time on the playground. - New updates have developed for Frisco ISD’s library service department's website which includes information on the district’s book selection and complaint processes. At the Apr. 11 meeting, FISD’s library coordinator, Amanda Butler presented the website’s new features to the school board. This school year, two books have been removed after being put through the formal reconsideration process. Officials explain that most of the changes were applied to give as much information to the FISD community as possible about how the district’s library system works. (Community Impact)
