- This May 9 through 15, the AT&T Byron Nelson golf tournament is hosting its second year at the TPC Craig Ranch. Tournament officials announced in February that the event will be held in full capacity this year. Check out important details to know ahead of the tournament which include general admission information, estimated traffic flow, and fundraising and concert events. (Community Impact)
- HBCU Hub, an app focused on connecting students to advisors, has relocated from California to McKinney. Founder and CEO Jonathan Swindell started HBCU Hub to remedy what he saw as a lack of centralized data and infrastructure on Black students and their academic progress. The app allows students who use it to apply for scholarships and connect with coaches and admissions recruiters at HBCUs across the U.S. (The Dallas Morning News)
