Lemonade Dash Debuts in Dallas, Saturday, June 21!

Get ready, Dallas – an all-new event that includes a 5K and 1K for skilled runners all the way to novices is coming your way! Kick off the summer season with the fist-ever, “Lemonade Dash Dallas” on Saturday, June 21 at Bachman Lake Park, 3500 W. Northwest Highway. This event is the first of a 3-part series that also includes the Popsicle Dash on July 27, and the Watermelon Dash on August 23 – all in Dallas! Produced by Lonestar Running Company (LRC) - each event is an expansion of the Summer Dash Series that has taken place in the Houston area since 2021. LRC is the sister company of Houston Running Company (HRC), and its founders are thrilled to be bringing these new ‘refreshing’ events to Dallas.

“We’re so excited to bring the energy of the Summer Dash Series to Dallas after growing it for the last five years in the Houston area,” said Randi Schooley, the co-founder of LRC and HRC. “These events aren’t just about getting out and moving - they’re about celebrating community and making memories with family and friends. As we do for all LRC and HRC events, we are thrilled to be donating a portion of event proceeds to our local charity partner, the Dare to Dream Children’s Foundation, that serves and supports at-risk youth in the Dallas area.”

The mission of this foundation is to help pick up the broken pieces of the lives of wounded youngsters in group homes, shelters, detention centers, and orphanages, by providing life-skills education and ministry through role model speakers, cultural experiences (including art, music and dance), and one-on-one mentoring. The Lemonade Dash includes a 5K event starting at 7:30 a.m., followed by a Kids/Family 1K at 9 a.m. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, casual walker or stroller-pushing parent, all are welcome! After the event, attendees can enjoy fresh lemonade, frozen slushies and a festive post-event atmosphere.
