• North Texas capital murder suspect sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole (wfaa.com) — A capital murder case tied to a 2017 Frisco shooting has ended with a life-without-parole sentence announced out of McKinney by the Collin County District Attorney’s Office. Investigators revived the cold case in 2023, securing new witness cooperation and recorded jail admissions that helped jurors convict the 44-year-old defendant of capital murder.
