Get ready to melt hearts and miles at the inaugural Popsicle Dash Dallas, happening Sunday, July 27 at Bachman Lake Park (3500 W. Northwest Highway)! It’s the coolest event of the summer and the second stop in Lonestar Running Company’s (LRC) three-event Summer Dash Series (the first ever Lemonade Dash was June 21 and the final event – the Watermelon Dash – will take place Saturday, August 23).

This sweet 5K event kicks off at 7:30 a.m., followed by an awards ceremony at 8:45 a.m., and a Kids/Family 1K at 9 a.m. With free parking, popsicle-themed fun and a lakeside course, this family-friendly walk/run is too cool to pass up!

But this isn’t just about icy treats and sweaty selfies – the Popsicle Dash also has heart. Forty-plus year Dallas-based nonprofit, the Dare to Dream Children’s Foundation is the charity beneficiary. This very special organization empowers at-risk youth ages 10 - 18 who are living in shelters, foster care and detention centers. These young people who just need a chance at a strong future are gifted with life-skills education, mentoring, cultural enrichment and positive role models.

“We're thrilled to bring the second event in our Summer Dash Series to Dallas with the same energy that we have built over the last two decades,” said Randi Schooley, co-founder of LRC and HRC. “The Popsicle Dash is about more than just fitness - it’s about building a stronger, sweeter community.”

Medals will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, top three Masters (40+) male and female, and first place age group winners (age group winner medals will be mailed post-event).
