• Conroe municipal judge arrested, accused of driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of a weapon (yourconroenews.com) — A Conroe municipal judge was arrested and booked into Montgomery County Jail on allegations of driving while intoxicated and unlawful weapon possession, after being taken into custody by the Montgomery Police Department. City officials stressed that the case is still pending and declined further comment, as the judge continues a campaign for higher office in the county’s justice system.
   

• Montgomery County Sheriff's Office partners with TxDOT for DWI Enforcement Dec. 12 – Jan. 1 (hellowoodlands.com) — Extra DWI patrols from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will be on local roads December 12 through January 1 as part of a statewide TxDOT campaign to curb impaired driving. Deputies will increase enforcement to reduce alcohol- and drug-related crashes, and residents are urged to plan sober rides and help keep Montgomery County roads safer through the holidays.
   

• Lions hear about telecommunications, 9-1-1 service needs (easttexasnews.com) — A veteran telecommunicator who now trains for the Montgomery County 9-1-1 District recently briefed a local civic club on growing challenges in funding emergency call services. She explained how a decades-old statewide wireless 9-1-1 fee has lost buying power while technology and service costs keep rising, and urged long-term solutions to sustain reliable emergency response across Texas communities, including Montgomery.
