• Mid County man and woman face life in prison for allegedly distributing methamphetamine (panews.com) — A Nederland woman has been federally indicted, alongside a Port Neches man, in an alleged methamphetamine distribution conspiracy that could carry a life sentence if she’s convicted. The case, part of a new Homeland Security Task Force initiative, is being handled in the Eastern District of Texas, and authorities stress that both defendants remain presumed innocent at this stage.
