5 Bar Employees Arrested For Serving Teen Before Fatal DWI Crash
Erick Hernandez, 19, allegedly spent six hours drinking at the Frontiera Events Venue on Sunday night, officials said.

SOUTH HOUSTON, TX β Officials with the Harris County District Attorney's Office and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commissioner reportedly have arrested five employees at the Frontiera Events Venue.
Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg announced earlier this week that her office and the TABC would investigate to determine if employees had over served Erick Hernandez or even checked the identification of 19-year-old man before he was served.
Officials arrested four servers and a manager on Wednesday, charging all of them with a Class A Misdemeanor for liquor violations, according to an ABC-13 report.

Officials said Hernandez spent six hours drinking at the bar on Sunday, before he got behind the wheel of his Ford F-150 pickup and killed a 23-year-old mother.
Taylor Phillips was driving her SUV with her 1-year-old son and 48-year-old mother in the 1500 block of College Avenue, when Hernandez, who was driving the wrong way, slammed into her SUV head-on. Phillips died at the scene.

Hernandez was pinned in his pickup, and was uninjured in the crash, and allegedly admitted to having several beers before the crash.
Officials believe Hernandez may have consumed as many as 12 alcoholic beverages over that six hour span, which according to investigators, included at least three tequila shots.
Officials conducted a breathalyzer test after the accident and expect the results back soon.
Hernandez, who was freed on a $30,000 bond on Tuesday, has a 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. curfew and must wear an alcohol detecting ankle monitor.
