Back To School: Find Out What's Happening In Pasadena

Back to school is almost here in Pasadena and Clear Lake. Find out what you need to know.

PASADENA, TX — Summer vacation is will be over soon for students in Pasdena and the surrounding area, and that means thousands of students in Pasadena, Galena Park, and Clear Lake will be back in class soon.

Students in Pasadena ISD will return to campus on Aug. 19. Parents and register their students district wide between Aug 6 and Aug 8. Parents can check out the Pasadena ISD website Back to School section to learn about school lunches, dress code, bus routes, code of conduct, immunizations and more.

Students in Galena Park ISD will be back in class Aug. 21. Parents can register their student in GPISD starting July 22 through July 25. Registration times are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 through 6:30 p.m. Parents will need the child’s birth certificate, proof of residency such as a utility bill, a drivers license or government ID, and a completed parental assumption form.
The district will host a free immunization day for children from 2-months old to 18-year-old, on Aug 17, from 9 a.m. until noon at North Shore Senior High School. Parents must bring shot records. For a list of school supplies for your child’s school, click here.

Santa Fe ISD Students return to campus on Aug. 19. If parents are starting from the ground up with Pre-K registration you will need to be at the Cowan Administration Building on Thursday, June 27, from 4 p.m.- 6 p.m.
Students in Alvin ISD will return to school on Aug. 15. Parents in Alvin ISD can find a lot of valuable information through the districts Office of Family Engagement.
