Baytown Man Pleads Guilty To 16-Year-old Girlfriend’s Murder
Jesse Dobbs, who was arrested in November 2016 for stabbing Kirsten Fritch, 16, pleaded guilty to her murder on Tuesday, police said.

GALVESTON, TX — A man accused of killing his 16-year-old girlfriend in November 2016 pleaded guilty to her murder in a Galveston County courtroom on Tuesday.
Jesse Dobbs, 23, who has been in the Galveston County Jail since Nov. 9, 2016, is charged with the brutal stabbing death of Kirsten Fritch and is a suspect in the shooting deaths of Fritch ’s mother and sister.
Police issued a statewide Amber Alert for Fritch on Nov. 8, 2016, after police discovered the bodies of her mother, Cynthia Morris, 37, and Fritch’s 13-year-old sister Breanna Pavilicek inside their Baytown home.

Both Morris and Pavilicek had been shot to death and the family's cream-colored 2008 PT Cruiser, along with Fritch, were missing.
Police arrested Dobbs at a Texas City bar a day later. He was taken in for questioning and allegedly admitted to police to stabbing Fritch at least 60 times. Her body was found in a wooded area behind the Texas City bar the day after Dobbs’ arrest.

Dobbs has never been charged with the murders of Morris and Pavilicek, but he was considered a suspect prior to his arrest, police said.
Prosecutors said the punishment phase of the case is scheduled to begin Monday.
