Channelview Man Dies On His Doorstep From Gunshot Wound: Deputies

CHANNELVIEW, TX — Harris County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for the people responsible for the shooting death of a man outside of his apartment Tuesday night.

The shooting was reported about 9:30 p.m. in the 16400 block of Woodrow Street.

When deputies arrived they found the man believed to be in his late 50s, dead from a single gunshot wound.

Witnesses told deputies that they saw two men walking up the stairs to the apartment, and then heard a gunshot, KHOU reported.

The two men left the apartment with a woman, and drove off.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from the area and hoping to identify those involved in the shooting.
