Dunavant Expanding Presence in La Porte

LA PORTE, TX — Dunavant Enterprises has formed a new division to lease transportation equipment. The new division will based out the logistics firm's La Porte office, 437 Independence Hwy S.

The Dunavant Logistics Leasing Group, as the new division is called, will directly lease various pieces of equipment needed to move heavy cargo on land and over the sea, including trailers and containers, to clients throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean.

This is Dunavant's second major expansion in the Houston market this year. In January the company expanded its Pasadena location to allow for the storage of more chemicals.
