Goose Creek Memorial High School Locked Down After Online Threat
A Goose Creek Memorial High student was arrested after officials in Baytown said the student made an online threat and forced a lock down.

BAYTOWN, TX — Students and staff at Goose Creek Memorial High School in Baytown were locked down after the school received a threat on Thursday morning.
Officials in the Goose Creek school district didn’t say initially if the threat was made by a student or if it was related to a law enforcement investigation in the area.

School district officials posted a notice on the district’s Facebook page calling the threat nonspecific and the campus was locked down out of an abundance of caution.
Officials later announced that the threat was made online by a student. No weapons were involved and none of the students or staff were injured.

Police arrested a student at the campus and the the lock down was lifted at about 10 a.m.
