La Porte PD ID Alleged Shooter in Dollar Store Robbery

The La Porte police department has identified the alleged shooter in a January robbery of a dollar store.

LA PORTE, TX β€” At around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 17, two men entered a dollar store in the 10400 block of West Fairmont Parkway. They came in with their guns out.

While they were waiving their pieces, a round went off and hit a customer. The men bailed with an unknown amount of money. Officers from the La Porte police department now think that they have one of the men involved in the robbery.

The cops picked up Christopher Hollis, 21, as the alleged shooter. They claim that forensic evidence identified him as the man who pulled the trigger, and have charged him with aggravated robbery.
