La Porte Woman Attacked By Neighbor Is Saved By Good Samaritan
A woman who heard her neighbor screaming was stabbed multiple times when she went outside to check on her, police said.

LA PORTE, TX -- A 38-year-old woman is recovering from stab wounds in a local hospital after police said her neighbor attacked her. La Porte police were called at about 10 a.m. Thursday to an apartment complex in the 1200 block of Montana Street for a disturbance.
When police arrived, they found the victim who told them she head her neighbor screaming and came outside to investigate. The woman said when she came outside to check, her neighbor went back into apartment and came back out with a knife.
The woman told police her neighbor attacked her, stabbing her several times until a Good Samaritan who happened to be passing by, dragged her away from the suspect.

The victim was taken to a local hospital by La Porte EMS. Her condition is not known.
The suspect is in custody, and has been charged with aggravated assault.
