Pasadena Police Search For Clues In Murder Mystery
Police are looking for the man who shot and killed Nicholas Bautista outside of his home on Oct. 28

PASADENA, TEXAS — Homicide investigators with the Pasadena Police Department are looking for the man who killed Nicholas Bautista on Oct. 28. On Friday, police released photos of a man seen getting out of black and tan Ford F-150 pickup carrying a shotgun. Police were called to the 200 block of Wafer Street at about 1 p.m. for a shooting.
When they arrived, police found Bautista laying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound in his back. He was rushed to an area hospital and later pronounced dead.
According to witnesses, Bautista was outside of his residence when a Hispanic male suspect drove up in a black and tan, Ford F-150, and got out carrying a shotgun. The man with the shotgun confronted Bautista and then shot the victim once afterward.

Witnesses told police the man with the shotgun fled the scene heading north on Wafer Street.
The suspect is a Hispanic man with a beard, wearing a baseball cap, gray t-shirt, and dark pants. The suspect's vehicle has aftermarket wheels, paper registration in the back window, and a small sticker on the left side rear window, behind the driver’s seat.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
