Plano - The much-loved dessert haven, Dolly Llama Waffle Master, is set to unveil its second Texas outpost in Plano, further enhancing the Dallas region's dessert scene, Dallas Metro News announced on Twitter. Saturday, June 10, marks the grand opening day, with the first 100 patrons standing to win exclusive branded merchandise. Additionally, the shop will host an all-day raffle, offering lucky winners store gift cards.

Dolly Llama has made a name for itself with its extravagantly creative waffle and ice cream pairings. The owners of this new venture, husband-and-wife team Trenton and Joy Judson, also operate the first Dolly Llama establishment in Dallas, located at 2817 Howell St.

The new location, 8400 Preston Road, was chosen with a forward-looking view of the planned Universal Studios theme park, which is set to be erected in the vicinity shortly.

On the menu, Dolly Llama features two distinct waffle styles: the classic Belgian OG Liege waffle and the bubble waffle, an adaptation of a beloved Hong Kong street delicacy that uses a unique batter to yield a crispy exterior with a creamy, custard-like texture.

Four signature Dolly Llama flavors are on offer: Dolly’s Dream, featuring either waffle variety with a topping of the ultimate Cookie Monster ice cream, fresh strawberries, brownies, and Nutella; Sugar N Spice, consisting of horchata ice cream, Speculoos cookies, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and a caramel drizzle; Llama Gone Nuts, which pairs vanilla ice cream with bananas, almonds, and a peanut butter sauce; and Party Animal, a mix of salted caramel ice cream, Kinder chocolate bites, Circus Animal cookies, and a chocolate dressing.

Complementing their avant-garde waffles, Dolly Llama also serves up signature shakes. Customers are welcome to customize their own dessert or simply savor a scoop of ice cream.

In line with its expansion strategy, Dolly Llama envisages launching two additional stores in the coming years, specifically in Fort Worth and Arlington.
