• Blank spot in booming suburb gets mixed-use development (tspantx.com) — A massive $750 million mixed-use project is now under construction on one of the last big undeveloped tracts in Plano, bringing new shops, apartments, townhomes, trails, and a 3-acre park to Haggard Farm along the Dallas North Tollway. Vertical construction on retail should wrap in about 14 months, with residential pre-leasing expected to start around the same time.
   

• ACNA Primate to Stand Trial (livingchurch.org) — Plano briefly took center stage in a national Anglican controversy as the church’s College of Bishops met here amid misconduct allegations against its primate and broader trust issues with leadership. Local church leader David Roseberry of Christ Church Plano is urging deeper reforms to how bishops share power and respond to complaints, a debate that could shape the denomination’s future role in the city.
