• Plano Breaks Ground On Major Project At Historic Haggard Farm (localprofile.com) — Plano has broken ground on a massive mixed-use redevelopment of historic Haggard Farm, turning one of the city’s last big open tracts into a $750 million district of housing, shops, offices and green space. The 142-acre project will add trails, townhomes, a boutique hotel and a destination restaurant while weaving in design elements that honor the Haggard family’s deep agricultural roots in Plano.
   

• Texas Awards $25M to Cotton Belt Trail, Nearly $30M to Other DFW Bike-Pedestrian Projects » Dallas Innovates (dallasinnovates.com) — State transportation leaders just awarded $25 million to advance the Cotton Belt Trail, a key east‑west path that will run from Plano toward DFW Airport alongside DART’s Silver Line. With new construction linking to the Shiloh Road Station in Plano, residents can expect safer bike and walking connections across multiple suburbs and better access to jobs, schools, and recreation over the next few years.
