Here are the top three stories today in Round Rock:

  1. A study from RentCafe named Round Rock the No. 1 city for renting apartments or homes. RentCafe considered cost of living, quality of rentals, economy, and quality of life to find the top 10 cities to rent in with the most affordable prices and the most space. (Finger Lakes)
  2. Round Rock ISD will offer free meals this summer to children and teens up to 18-years-old and enrolled disabled students up to 21-years-old beginning Jun. 6 at select district campuses. RRISD said, "When the school year ends, children often lose access to consistent, nutritious school meals, so with the USDA's summer meal programs, kids can continue to eat healthy throughout the summer at no cost."   3. The Central Texas Food Bank has expanded its home delivery program to Williamson County. The food bank has partnered with Round Rock Area Serving Center and Amazon to give those in need a monthly, 30-pound box of shelf-stable groceries. Amazon will deliver the box in a contactless method directly to participating homes.
