"I’m pleased that TPWD has so quickly announced a plan for an independent study of the Rolling Pines fire. It is also gratifying to hear that they have placed a moratorium on prescribed burning in Bastrop County until the investigation is complete, findings are released, and their prescribed burn criteria are changed. I will continue to inform our citizens of developments regarding the investigation and outcomes." Judge Pape
