Median prices now sit around $430,000 metro-wide, while inventory is growing and buyers are gaining leverage, pressuring sellers to price more competitively.

• Crockett, Talarico to face off in Democratic primary (wilsoncountynews.com) — Round Rock residents may notice their state representative, James Talarico, now running in a high-profile Democratic primary for U.S. Senate against Rep. Jasmine Crockett. The piece also outlines Gov. Greg Abbott’s tax-cut-focused reelection bid, Texas’ strong job growth, a controversial screwworm response plan, ongoing drought conditions, and the sizable economic impact of real Christmas tree sales statewide.

• James Talarico Destroys "Welfare Queen" Stereotype (saobserver.com) — A Texas Senate hopeful recently kicked off his campaign at Centennial Plaza in Round Rock, tying his message on economic fairness to a local launch event. In a widely viewed forum, State Rep.
