Capital Reyes Distributing is running behind on delivering certain brands of beer to local pool hall Skinny Bob’s Billiards. Shayla Neris is the pool hall manager: "Skinny Bob’s Billiards plays host to worldwide competitions, which creates a demand for a large beer inventory. Half of the inventory has faced delays and left [the business] with nearly empty shelves." Laurel Patrick, vice president of corporate affairs at Capital Reyes, noted the distributor is working on increasing its number of routes to meet the demand. KVUE Defenders have the full scoop.
Round Rock police are looking for help in identifying a suspect allegedly involved in an aggravated robbery. On March 13, an armed robbery took place at First Cash Pawn shop, at 907 N IH-35. "The suspect entered the store with a handgun and demanded jewelry from the cashier and then fled the store." The suspect fled in a vehicle with no plates, last seen traveling on IH-35 toward Austin.
