Here are the top stories in Round Rock today:

1. Here's something new to experience this year: In honor of Black History Month, the Round Rock Black History Organization is hosting a 2023 Historic Bus Tour. During the event, guests will stop by and learn about several places of importance to Black history in Round Rock, as well as servings of breakfast and lunch. Ticket fees and more information are at City of Round Rock.
2. Actor Adam Powell and his partner, historian Eric Cervini, are ruffling some feathers with their "Rainbow Book Bus." This project is their own spin on representing and defending attacks on LGBTQ2S+ books that have come under fire in the U.S. The two reached their crowdfunding goal of $100,000 at the end of December last year, and hope to have a somewhat finished "book bus" by June this year. Cervini, who grew up in Round Rock, is hoping to "throw a queer book fair in the parking lot of the church in Round Rock" this summer. To learn more, visit Xtra Magazine.
3. If you haven't heard already, rare guinea pigs were found abandoned at multiple locations from Buda to as north as Round Rock. Austin Guinea Pig Rescue suspects that these Satin breed guinea pigs are being dumped by a breeder who was overwhelmed by having to care for the influx of guineas that are pregnant, which is why the organization is "offering amnesty" to whomever is responsible.
