Here are the top three stories in Round Rock today:
- Many City of Round Rock offices, including the Library, Municipal Court, Baca Center, and the Utility Billing Office, will be closed today, Monday, Jun. 20, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. However, the Clay Madsen Recreation Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over the last week, the City has held several community events to celebrate and reflect on the origins of and meaning behind the holiday. - According to the Round Rock Police Department, a teenager was injured after being shot Saturday night. The department said the shooting occurred at approximately 7:35 p.m. in the 1700 block of Onion Creek Village Drive. The teen was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. As of the time of this publication, the Round Rock police said there was no indication of a threat to the public, and the investigation is ongoing. (KXAN.com)

- In case you missed it, the City of Round Rock will be hosting a job fair this Thursday, Jun. 23, at the United Heritage Center at Dell Diamond from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.(FOX 7 Austin)
- Join the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department this Friday, Jun. 24, for the next family-friendly "Friday Fun Night" at Yonders Point. From 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., community members can "boogie down" and enjoy free food and refreshments, a live DJ, and a glow party. Get more details on the City's website.
