City of Round Rock Hosts Monthly Waste Disposal Event

Residents and eligible voucher participants are invited to dispose of toxic or potentially dangerous materials at waste collection event.

ROUND ROCK, TX—As we spend more time at home, and in an effort to wind down the year more organized and clutter-free, the City of Round Rock will host its Household Hazard Waste Disposal event. Residents will have the opportunity to safely dispose of residential paint and other household chemicals during this monthly event.

Scheduled Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. (rain or shine), the waste collection will be held at the Recycling Center located at 310 Deepwood Drive. This event is free for City of Round Rock water utility customers, and residents are asked to bring a drivers license and City water bill as proof of residence. Voucher participants from City of Georgetown, Brushy Creek MUD, and Fern Bluff MUD may participate with a valid voucher. See Voucher Program for details. Non-residents may participate by paying the cost to drop off materials which is $40 per car (cash or check payments are accepted).
