City Of Round Rock Hosts Trunk Or Treat For Special Needs Kids
The family-centered event is offered for children with various disabilities or limitations, and will be a safe and fun drive-through event.
ROUND ROCK—The City of Round Rock and the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department will host a Trunk-or-Treat for Special Needs Kids and families with children with various disabilities or limitations. The 7th annual FREE Trunk-or-Treat is a fun and safe drive-through event to ensure the safety of all who attend.
Scheduled Sunday, Oct. 25 from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. at the Rabb House located at 151 N. A.W. Grimes, this family-centered event will be held rain or shine, siblings are welcome to the festivities. The Trunk-or-Treat will feature local businesses and organizations bringing a vehicle and decorating its trunk/tailgate, to then pass out candy as kids "Trunk or Treat" from the safety of car to car.
To get involved, simply download the Trunk or Treat Registration Form. Participation is free, and the event organizers ask local businesses, clubs/organizations and families to provide a vehicle trunk/tailgate decorated in a family-friendly Halloween/Fall theme. Participants should be ready to pass out candy/prizes at their trunk and provide enough candy/trinkets/prizes for 400+ trick or treaters. Participants are welcome, but not required to promoting their business at the event using a company vehicle, as well as by handing out goodies promoting their business.
