City Of Round Rock Now Hiring Victim Services Advocate
Qualified candidates are invited to apply to the Police Support Services Department and lend support services to victims of crime.
ROUND ROCK, TX— The City of Round Rock and its Police Support Services Department invite qualified candidates to apply to the Victim Services team and as a Victim Services Advocate provide a variety of support services to victims of crime, law enforcement and the community.
The role is a grant-funded position provides crisis intervention, tracking and supporting victims throughout the legal process, advising victims of their rights, and coordination application for compensation. Associates degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or a related field is required. Minimum one (1) year of experience required. Two years of additional work experience directly related to the role may substitute for the Associate's degree. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
