  1. Good news for baseball fans: Dell Diamond welcomes back college baseball for the 4th Karbach Round Rock Classic, Feb. 24-26 next year. "The 2023 lineup includes the LSU Tigers, Iowa Hawkeyes, Kansas State Wildcats, and the Sam Houston Bearkats. The tournament will consist of each team facing one another in a round-robin format, with two games played each day." (City of Round Rock)
  2. Passionate about law enforcement? "Round Rock Police are accepting applications for Citizens Police Academy." This program helps citizens understand better the everyday protocols of law enforcement through various scenarios. You must be a resident of Round Rock to apply.   3. Round Rock ranks No. 11 out of 50 top U.S. cities for workers who have remote jobs. If you didn't already know, our city ranks best for: "Access to internet connection, number of high-end units, and number of apartments with access to sports amenities."   • Baseball extends an incredibly loving network of supporters that are as strong as family bonds. A young Austin boy is currently on life support after a tragic car accident and the Round Rock Express showed their support to the Calley family. (KXAN)
  • Morning traffic collision: "All southbound lanes of IH-35 between Ikea and E. Old Settler's Blvd. are currently closed due to a multi-car collision. Officers are working to clear the roadway."   • Round Rock ISD is offering adult enrichment classes. "Come and cook with us. Enjoy creative cooking classes for adults 18 years and older. Beginning and experienced cooks can choose between 16 different 90-minute culinary courses. The Adult Culinary Academy classes are hands-on cooking experiences."
