  1. More voters decided "No" to electing conservative members to the school board. Round Rock results were said to be due to "parents being tired of the political division" during the elections this year. In an interview with the Texas Tribune, Tiffanie Harrison (Place 6) said, “Children aren’t red or blue. They just need people that are willing to serve them and make sure that they have what they need in their schools to be successful.” To read more about what's happening with Round Rock's school board, check out The Texas Tribune.
  2. Congratulations to Kelley Morgan, Pearson Ranch Middle School Teacher. Morgan received the "Dance Educator of the Year" award from the Texas Dance Educators Association. "...as she grew as an educator, she realized that she was using the art of dance to teach her students to be open-minded, good humans while guiding them to find their creative voice in a safe environment of mutual and self-respect." Read more about Morgan's experience and passion on Round Rock ISD News.
  3. For the foodies: A couple of new eateries are now open for your hungry bellies!
